Music Experience: Meet the Band

If you are a high school woodwind, brass or percussion player, don’t miss the opportunity to rehearse and perform with the Gordon Symphonic Band for a night! This will be an immersive and impactful experience which will give you insight into College music-making and inspire you for your continues music journey.

If you would like to rehearse and perform with the Gordon Symphony Orchestra for a night, please register by September 27.

Included on this day are:

• An in-depth tour of the Phillips Music Center
• Receive information about our music programs
• Learn from Gordon’s inspiring conductor, Dr. Gabe Southard and applied lesson instructors by playing in a rehearsal with the Symphonic Band
• Meet music students at your complimentary dinner at the College’s spectacular dining facility 
• Perform in the Symphonic Band concert that evening
• Optional: stay overnight with a music student
