Your Theatre Scholarship Audition Options

Students are not required to audition to be accepted into the Theatre Arts major. However, scholarships may be offered to especially talented Theatre Arts major students who audition before enrolling at Gordon ($2,000 – 3,000 per year). To be eligible for a Theatre Major Scholarship an audition is required.

Students are strongly encouraged to audition in person at one of our Theatre Experience Days. These special days allow you to attend a matinee performance of a mainstage play or musical, have a campus tour, meet with Theatre faculty and the cast and crew, attend an Improv workshop and audition for a Theatre Major Scholarship.

We offer the following dates for a Live (in person at Gordon College) Theatre Scholarship auditions in combination with the Theatre Experience Day.

Saturday, October 31, 2026, 5 p.m. (Deadline to apply: 10/25)
Saturday, February 20, 2027, 5 p.m. (Deadline to apply: 2/14)

If circumstance prohibits you from coming to any of the live Theatre Scholarship auditions listed above, you may ask for an individual, in person visit for your audition or a remote audition. However, if at all possible, we encourage applicants to attend one of the Theatre Experience Days.

Deadline: This audition application must be submitted by February 14, and the audition must take place by the end of February 2027 to be eligible for the Theatre Major Scholarship.
