Your Theatre Scholarship Audition Options

Students are not required to audition to be accepted into the Theatre Arts major. However, scholarships may be offered to especially talented Theatre Arts major students who audition before enrolling at Gordon ($1,000 – 3,000 per year). For these Theatre Scholarships an audition is required.

Students are strongly encouraged to audition in person at one of our Theatre Experience Days (November 2 and March 29). These special days allow you and your family to attend a matinee performance of a mainstage play or musical, have a campus tour, have dinner with the cast and crew, and audition for a scholarship.

We offer the following dates for a Live (in person at Gordon College) Theatre Scholarship auditions.

Saturday, November 2, 2024, 6 p.m. - 6.45 p.m.
Saturday, March 29, 2025 , 6 p.m. - 6.45 p.m.

If circumstance prohibits you from coming to any of the live Theatre Scholarship auditions listed above, you may ask for an individual, in person visit for your audition or a remote audition. However, if at all possible, we encourage applicants to attend one of the Theatre Experience Days. It provides the opportunity to experience firsthand one of our productions, meet the cast and crew, learn more about our program, and audition in person.

Students must audition by the end of March 2025 to be eligible for a Theatre Major Scholarship.
